New York Red Bulls

The New York Red Bulls, the latest name change since the Metrostars, are an American professional soccer club team that is apart of MLS (Major League Soccer). MLS began with 10 teams in the first season in 1996 but the program started in 1993 to try get the 1994 FIFA World Cup hosted in the United States. Today, the Red Bulls have a new home in Harrison, New Jersey, which by the way opened for the 2010 MLS season. Their old home, which was in East Rutherford, New Jersey, was the Giants Stadium. Kristina, a Red Bull business organizer, says that the Red Bull's performance has improved dramatically since the new stadium was built. That is why they are now in 2nd place for the MLS Eastern Conference Standings as of 7/8/10. First place is Columbus Crew.
